Silver Spring International Middle School is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. The original school building was constructed in 1934. Additional buildings were added to the site in 1936, 1940, 1949, and 1951. These buildings were connected with additions in 1953, 1959, 1969, 1974, 1976, 1985 and 1999. The existing building is approximately 251,530 gross square feet. The middle school portion of the building is 173,205 gross square feet. The elementary portion of the school is 98,799 gross square feet. .
