Mr. Corey Beamer, Content Specialist - email
My name is Conor Beamer and I am the World Studies Content Specialist here at BCMS. I was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in College Park, MD. I attended Good Counsel High school--when it was in Wheaton--before getting my bachelor's degree in History from the University of Maryland. Go Terps! I have two Master's degrees from Loyola University; one in the art of teaching and the other in educational leadership. I also worked for the Washington Capitals hockey team for 16 years, including the Stanley Cup champion team in 2018--you'll find out quickly that I love (D.C.) sports. I also love music, especially 90s/early 2000s rap/hip hop, grunge, hard rock, etc. I aspire to try new restaurants wherever I go and enjoy hosting family and friends whenever I can. I believe that in education, building relationships, humility, trust, and collaboration to be core values. Happy to be a Bear and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your educational journey!

My name is Mr. Krichbaum, or if you prefer Mr. K! I have lived in Montgomery County my entire life, the first 13 years in Wheaton, and the last 22 years in Olney. I began teaching in 2012 as a para educator and now as a classroom teacher. I am married with 3 children! My daughter Lily is 8, my son Cameron is 3, and my daughter Kourtney is 6 months old! I love sports! My favorite teams are the Duke Basketball team, The Washington Football Team, and The Baltimore Orioles! Fun fact about me is that I coached the Washington Football Team QB Dwayne Haskins for 3 years in High School! My hobbies include playing with my kids, jogging, and playing softball! Let's make history together!

Ms. Jacqueline Paige, Social Studies - email
This year is my 15th year teaching Social Studies at BCMS and my 30th year in the classroom. I have taught 4th-7th grades in all subjects. I grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University. I earned my Master’s degree in Education from Fordham University and taught for several years in the Big Apple before moving to Maryland. I am married and the mother of two adult children - a 3-D animator and a chemical engineer. I enjoy traveling, reading, and completing jigsaw puzzles. I love spending time with my family, reading, and listening to music: old school hip-hop, jazz and neo-soul. Middle school history is my favorite subject to teach and I am really looking forward to an exciting year with you teaching, learning, exploring and being a part of history!
