2023-2024 School Immunization Requirements

Students entering 7th grade for the 2023-2024 school year are required to have proof of immunizations for Tdap (Tetanus-diphtheria-accellular pertussis) and MCV4 (Meningococcal). Click here for DHHS Back-to-School Immunization Clinic schedules.

    The program offers access to many academic competitions and the opportunity to conduct fieldwork. Throughout all of their specialized coursework, students work with an academic cohort to conduct independent inquiries using mathematics, computer science, and the scientific process to solve real-world problems.

    Roberto Clemente Middle School offers rigorous and challenging academic programs, elective courses, special programs, extracurricular activities, and sports to address the academic, social, and emotional needs and characteristics of early adolescents.

    Learning for Independence

     LFI Generic Picture

    Learning for Independence emphasizes individual student learning in school and community sites based on the student's IEP and adapted common core state standards. These classes serve students with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities and/or multiple disabilities who meet the state requirements for accessing alternate assessments and curriculum standards. These students also learn academic and functional life skills in the context of general school environments and in community settings.

    Gifted & Talented Learning Disabled

    GTLD Program

    Twice exceptional students are identified as gifted and talented and also have met criteria for an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a Section 504 plan. These students have a unique profile of significant strengths and weaknesses, thus they require support and special services in order to access appropriately challenging curriculum.
