Overview
Welcome to seventh grade social studies. What a year there is ahead of you! You will build on all you learned in sixth grade to find out how the world turned “modern” because of the changes in the economy, political systems and culture. You will also learn how and why these changes spread around the world. Ever wonder why the world is the way it is now? In each of the units you will learn history and culture, geography, political systems, or economics content to help learn how the world came to be.
