Gray wolves can have black, white , brown or gray fur depending where they live.- Wolfs are wild dogs.
- Red wolfs are not really red. Instead there black, gray and reddish brown.
The ancestors of wolfs lived more than 50 millions years ago.- Wolfs are members of a dog family called Canidae. All dogs are related to wolves.
- Most male wolfs weigh more than 100 pounds.
Wolfs are hunters.- Wolfs have a keen sense of smell for sniffing their prey.
