About John Poole
John Poole Middle School (JPMS) is a small middle school in the Montgomery County Public School System and is located in Poolesville, Maryland. JPMS opened in 1997, and in August 2001 we proudly dedicated our new addition, the Linda Fiore Memorial Gymnasium. JPMS is part of the Poolesville Cluster receiving students from both Poolesville and Monocacy Elementary Schools and sending our students to Poolesville High School.
John Poole Middle School is named for John Poole who established the first post office and general store in Poolesville.
The Timberwolf community experiences joy in learning, celebrates excellence, and values positive relationships.
Our school mascot is "Timber" the Timberwolf
