Encyclopedias

Encyclopedia Britannica - You can change the reading level of articles in this encyclopedia, have them read aloud to you or translate them to another language. 

World Book - Kids version is meant for grades 1-6, Student version is grades 6-12. There is also a Spanish language encyclopedia you can choose to use. Click on the red gear icon in the top right corner of the article to be able to translate the article or have it read aloud to you.

Databases

FactCite Science -From main page, click "Science and Technology." Then you can use the search bar to find articles on your organism. This has a read-aloud function.

ScienceFlix - Use the search bar in the top right corner to find articles on your organism. Articles can be read aloud to you.

Websites

Chesapeake Bay Foundation- Click on your animals name on the menu on the right side of the screen to open up the article. 

Chesapeake Bay Program- State of the Bay - Scroll down and click on the name of your organism.
