It is my great honor to serve as the new Principal of Rosemary Hills. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you over the next weeks and months. As Principal, I am committed to developing a shared vision in order to ensure that the academic and social-emotional needs of all of our students are met. I am a collaborative leader who believes in high expectations, equity and a growth mindset. I look forward to working with you to ensure that the culture of Rosemary Hills fosters these qualities in a safe and warm environment for our students.

Cassandra Scott, Assistant Principal
Dear Rosemary Hills Elementary School Community,
I am thrilled to be joining Rosemary Hills Elementary School as the assistant principal. This year marks my twenty third year serving families and communities within Montgomery County Public Schools. For the last nine years, I have had the opportunity to serve as assistant principal at Clearspring ES and Woodlin ES. In my work, I strive to incorporate my core leadership beliefs of building relationships, setting high expectations, and providing equity for all.
On a personal note, I am a New Jersey native…born and raised. My husband and I have been married for twenty-seven years and we have one son, who just graduated from high school this past May. He will be attending and playing football for Temple University…Go Owl’s! My new favorite football team!
I earned my master’s degree in elementary education/curriculum and instruction from Regent University and certification in administration from McDaniel College. I also gained National Board Certification in Early Adolescence English/Language Arts in 2007. During my leisure, I enjoy cooking, watching mysteries and old movie classics, traveling and going to my son’s football games.
I am excited to be a Rosemary Hills Rhino. I strive to continue the work at Rosemary Hills by sustaining a safe school environment that promotes social and emotional learning in addition to academics. I look forward to building new relationships with staff and students, encouraging parent engagement and community partnerships, and promoting a strong instructional program for all students. Estimada comunidad de la Escuela Primaria Rosemary Hills,
Estoy encantada de unirme a la Escuela Primaria Rosemary Hills como subdirectora. Este año marca mi vigésimo tercer año sirviendo a familias y comunidades dentro de las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Montgomery. Durante los últimos nueve años, he tenido la oportunidad de servir como subdirectora en Clearspring ES y Woodlin ES. En mi trabajo, me esfuerzo por incorporar mis creencias fundamentales de liderazgo de construir relaciones, establecer altas expectativas y brindar equidad para todos.
En una nota personal, soy nativo de Nueva Jersey... nacido y criado. Mi esposo y yo hemos estado casados durante veintisiete años y tenemos un hijo, que acaba de graduarse de la escuela secundaria en mayo pasado. Asistirá y jugará fútbol para la Universidad de Temple... ¡Go Owl's! ¡Mi nuevo equipo de fútbol favorito!
Obtuve mi maestría en educación primaria/plan de estudios e instrucción de Regent University y una certificación en administración de McDaniel College. También obtuve la Certificación de la Junta Nacional en Inglés/Artes Lingüísticas para la Primera Adolescencia en 2007. Durante mi tiempo libre, disfruto cocinar, ver novelas de misterio y películas clásicas antiguas, viajar e ir a los partidos de fútbol de mi hijo.
Estoy emocionado de ser un rinoceronte de Rosemary Hills. Me esfuerzo por continuar el trabajo en Rosemary Hills manteniendo un entorno escolar seguro que promueva el aprendizaje social y emocional además del académico. Espero construir nuevas relaciones con el personal y los estudiantes, alentar la participación de los padres y las asociaciones comunitarias, y promover un programa educativo sólido para todos los estudiantes. በግል ማስታወሻ፣ እኔ የኒው ጀርሲ ተወላጅ ነኝ…የተወለድኩ እና ያደኩት። እኔና ባለቤቴ በትዳር ውስጥ ለሃያ ሰባት ዓመታት ኖረናል እና አንድ ወንድ ልጅ አለን እርሱም ባለፈው ግንቦት የሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርቱን አጠናቋል። ለመቅደስ ዩኒቨርስቲ እየተከታተለ እግር ኳስ ይጫወታል…Go Owl’s! የእኔ አዲስ ተወዳጅ የእግር ኳስ ቡድን!
የማስተርስ ድግሪዬን በአንደኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት/ስርአተ ትምህርት እና ትምህርት በሬጀንት ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና በማክዳንኤል ኮሌጅ አስተዳደር ሰርተፍኬት አግኝቻለሁ። በ2007 በወጣትነት ጉርምስና እንግሊዘኛ/ቋንቋ ጥበባት የብሔራዊ ቦርድ ሰርተፍኬት አግኝቻለሁ።በመዝናናት ጊዜዬ ምግብ ማብሰል፣ምስጢራትን እና የቆዩ የፊልም ክላሲኮችን መመልከት፣መጓዝ እና የልጄን የእግር ኳስ ጨዋታዎች መሄድ እወዳለሁ።
የሮዝመሪ ሂልስ ራይኖ በመሆኔ ጓጉቻለሁ። ከአካዳሚክ በተጨማሪ ማህበራዊ እና ስሜታዊ ትምህርትን የሚያበረታታ ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ የትምህርት ቤት አካባቢን በማስቀጠል በሮዝመሪ ሂልስ ያለውን ስራ ለመቀጠል እጥራለሁ። ከሰራተኞች እና ተማሪዎች ጋር አዲስ ግንኙነት ለመመስረት፣ የወላጆችን ተሳትፎ እና የማህበረሰብ አጋርነት ለማበረታታት እና ለሁሉም ተማሪዎች ጠንካራ የማስተማሪያ ፕሮግራም ለማስተዋወቅ እጓጓለሁ። እባክዎን በ cassandra_scott@mcpsmd.org ላይ እኔን ለማግኘት ነፃነት ይሰማዎ። ከመላው የሮዝመሪ ሂልስ አንደኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት ማህበረሰብ ጋር ለመስራት እጓጓለሁ።
