About Our School
Rosemont was first built on Alden Avenue in 1965. This is a quiet, sunny suburban street in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Though far from the hustle and bustle of Washington, D.C., this small elementary school is alive with new ideas! In 1995, the school was renovated complete with everything from freshly painted walls to a new computer network and a technology classroom. In 2005, a new wing and a gymnasium were added to the existing building. Rosemont is not only growing in the 21st century, but the population has grown as well. We feel fortunate to have a culturally rich population of approximately 500 students from PreK to fifth grade.
Rosement Elementary is in the Gaithersburg cluster. The elementary schools in the Gaithersburg Cluster are Gaithersburg, Goshen, Laytonsville, Rosemont, Strawberry Knoll, Summit Hall and Washington Grove. The middle schools are Gaithersburg Middle and Forest Oak.
