    Goal: The goal of the Italian Honor Society is to promote the study of Italian language and culture.

    Events:

    • Formal Induction Ceremony in May
    • Fundraisers
    • Carnevale
    • Tutoring Tuesdays and Thursdays G33 During Lunch

    Induction Requirements:

    • Complete Italian 3 Honors by the end of the year of application
    • Obtain an overall A average for three semesters in Regular classes or B average in Honors classes
    • Tutor a specified number of times each semester
    • Attend Italian Honor Society meetings the first Wednesday of every month
    • Participate in Italian Honor Society activities inside and outside of school
    • Take Italian 5 or AP Italian in senior year or have taken one of them prior to senior year

    Student must complete the above requirements in order to wear graduation honor cords.
