During the four-day sea-and-air    battle, the outnumbered U.S. Pacific Fleet succeeded in destroying four    Japanese aircraft carriers while losing only one of its own.
 ((3))Today’s SAT word of the day is PROCRASTINATE, meaning to put off doing something until a future time;    to postpone or delay needlessly. "She procrastinated and did not    register for the SAT until the very last minute."  ((1))In    sports news, there are a couple of interest meetings to let you know about.
 ((3))Any    girls interested in playing Girls Volleyball this fall need to attend a    mandatory informational meeting today at lunch in B223. Please see Announcenet for his email address if you have any    questions.
 ((1))There    will be a meeting for girls interested in playing tennis this Fall for Blake.    The meeting will take place this Thursday, June 6, at lunch in room G290.    Please make every effort to attend.
 ((3))The SGA is looking for committed, creative, and enthusiastic    students to join TeamSGA for the next year school    year.
 There    are several Organizer positions available, such as

 Events    Coordinator
 Fundraising    Coordinator
 Pennies    for Patients chair,

 School    Appreciation Chair,

 Announcenet:Being    an Ambassador is a great way to earn SSL hours and    add to your college application.  If    you are interested, fill out a 2013 Blake Ambassador Application in the Main    Office.   Applications are due to Mrs.    Yargici in the Main Office by the end of the day on Friday June 7th.     Questions about the program?  If    you are currently a Blake Ambassador and interested in continuing as an    Ambassador next year, you MUST fill out a 2013 Blake Ambassador    Application.  Copies can be picked up from the Main Office.     Completed applications are due to Mrs. Yargici in the Main Office by the end    of the day on Friday June 7th.
