Humanities House students will pursue a rigorous humanities curricula with an interdisciplinary connection among English, social studies, communications, and fine arts. Humanities students will be able to integrate oral and written communication skills with state-of-the-art visual media. The Humanities House is one of three magnet programs at Poolesville High School.
AdmissionApplication (More about admissions)Admission to the Humanities House is very competitive. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in Algebra 1 or higher by Grade 8. Criteria used to evaluate candidates include written statements from candidates, previous grades, coursework, test scores, and interests and achievements.
