Early Childhood Coordinating Council (ECCC)

Purpose

Montgomery County Council Bill 13-15 establishes the Early Childhood Coordinating Council (ECCC).  The membership of the former Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) has been transferred to the ECCC.  Membership is appointed and invited by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Council.

The ECCC will be working collaboratively to plan, implement and assess activities focused on ensuring that all young children (birth through age 5) of Montgomery County arrive at school fully ready to learn.

Meetings are open to the public.
