The school library media program provides instruction, resources, and services to assist students and teachers in becoming critical thinkers in the pursuit and use of ideas and information. With well-prepared and highly qualified professional personnel supported by appropriate technical and clerical staff, a school library media program provides all students and staff members with equitable and timely access to ideas and information and an integrated instructional program to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
