The Destiny Library Manager (Destiny) system is a web-based, centralized K–12 resource management tool.

You can...

  • have 24/7 browser-based and mobile access to library material information from a computer, smart phone or iPad.
  • search one centralized MCPS-wide online catalog system ensuring greater visibility into the inventory of media materials.
  • rate (monitored by designated staff) and share reviews of books based on a star system in a safe, social networking atmosphere.
  • allow school staff members to assist with the selection of complex texts in order to support the implementation of the Common Core State Standards.

This system allows library media center staff members to work more efficiently while creating engaging and collaborative learning environments that promote and support student achievement.
