The MCPS extracurricular and fine arts programs continue to operate in-person within the guidelines of Montgomery County Public Schools’ current procedures and protocols for COVID-19 safety. Staff from the MCPS extracurricular and fine arts departments continue to participate on the Student-Athlete Medical Advisory Committee. This task force serves as an advisory group for all health and safety initiatives for the MCPS interscholastic athletic program and the decisions made on this committee reflect the needs of the extracurricular and fine arts program and are applied as appropriate.
MCPS wishes to recognize secondary students for commitment in participation in a wide range of MCPS Athletic and Extracurricular Activities. Students will be recognized for various levels of commitment, as outlined below, with the MCPS Certificate of Student Engagement.
