Guide to Enrollment
Once you verify that Westbrook is your school, please contact us to set up a time for enrollment. Enrollment may be done year round at any time. In order to enroll you must have information for the following. See complete details here: Quick Guide to Enrollment.
Required Documentation
1. Proof of Age. Children age 5 by September 1 of current school year, and not age 21 on the first day of school are eligible for enrollment in MCPS for the school year.
2. Proof of Residency. If you are living with a friend or family member, please complete the Shared Housing Form https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/forms/pdf/335-74.pdf
3. Proof of Immunization.

5. Authorization to Request Records (If Transferring from a school outside MCPS)

If you are requesting a transfer to stay at or leave Westbrook, please review and complete the Change of School Assignment (COSA) form.

Events to Help You Learn More
Kindergarten parents can learn more about Westbrook through a variety of central outreach events.
All dates can be confirmed on the Westbrook Calendar or by calling the Main Office at 240-740-1040.
April: "Kindergarten Orientation" ("Kindergarten Round-Up") is the date of student registration BY APPOINTMENT with Westbrook. It also includes a visit to Kindergarten class by incoming student. Check MCPS Kindergarten Orientation for Westbrook's given date and then call Westbrook at 240-740-1040 after March 1 to make your registration appointment.
Late August: "Westbrook Open House" is all-school open house for parents and students.
First day of school: MCPS will set and confirm academic calendar for coming year in January. Mrs. Cox holds an annual "Boo Hoo, Yahoo" Kindergarten parent meet and greet on the first day of school. Parents drop Kindergartener's off with their teachers and then come to meet the Principal and other Kindergarten parents.
